The ShotMaxTM "captures" any type of shot taken along the lane and out to the foul line and quickly returns the ball back to the shooter at the same place, every time. Coaches and trainers, your endless hours of rebounding free throws are over.
This simple but elegant design allows the shooter to multiply the number of shots taken in a given session.
The natural design of the ShotMaxTM improves accuracy. Simply, the ShotMaxTM operates on the principle of "positive reinforcement". When a shot is made, the ball typically returns to the shooter faster - giving the shooter more shots (and more incentive to make even more shots). The more shots made, the more shots the shooter is provided in a given time period.
TESTIMONIALS
Shotmax is amazing! The ball came right back to me with one bounce virtually every shot, just as if someone was rebounding and tossing it to me. I believe that with this product, I am going to be able to reach my goal of setting a world free throw record this year. I didn't get to stay at the NABC show in Atlanta for as long as I wanted, but discovering ShotMax made the trip worthwhile. Thanks!"
Rick Rosser, Professional Free Throw Shooter, 1996 Mens Champion - The International Shootout, Four-time Alabama State Champion.
"We use the ShotMax at all of our 3-on-3 tournaments, and the ShotMax is used exclusively at all of our free throw competitions. Players love it! We would recommend ShotMax to anyone interested in improving their free throw shooting skills."
Gary Darby, "Mr. Hoops", CEO, Team Hoops 3-on-3 Basketball Tournaments - Charlestown, Indiana
SHOTMAX STATISTICS
We asked the same player to perform a half-hour free throw shooting drill on two separate occasions using the exact form and rhythm each time: first, shooting without the ShotMaxTM (and no rebounder); and second, shooting with the ShotMaxTM. For each session, we timed the number of throws at both the 15 minute and 30 minute marks.
The results:
15 min.
98 free throws
With ShotMax
77 free throws Without ShotMax
30 min.
192 free throws Without ShotMax
143 free throws Without ShotMax
In general, these numbers would indicate a "one third again" improvement in number of shots taken. This means that at a dedicated, individual practice "station" with 4 players rotating in, 4 players can shoot the same number of free throws in the time it would take 3 players shooting without a ShotMaxTM.
